Jerome “Jerry” Kohlberg, founder and chairman of The Kohlberg Foundation passed away on July 30, 2015.

A pioneer of the private equity industry, Mr. Kohlberg used his good fortune to support the many causes for which he cared deeply, including environmental stewardship, health, education, and human services.
